RECEIVE
RECEIVE
"Recive" is a sink inspired by the natural flow of water as a symbol of purification within the bathroom environment.
Designed in Cristalplant, a material known for its durability and smooth, sculptural qualities, RECEIVE embodies both form and function while fostering a deep connection with the user.
The name Recive derives from its distinctive shape, which invites the user to approach, interact, and fully engage with the object. The soft, fluid lines of the sink mirror the movement of water, creating a harmonious and welcoming design that encourages moments of self-care and cleansing. The form is carefully crafted to intuitively guide water flow while seamlessly integrating into contemporary bathroom spaces.

Cristalplant®
Cristalplant® biobased is composed of 50% minerals and 50% polyester bioresin. It is the first eco-sustainable solid surface, made from plant-based resin raw materials mixed with extremely pure natural inert minerals.
Its characteristics that fully qualify it as an eco-sustainable product are numerous: 30% of the resin, previously fossil-based, has been replaced by plant-based polyesters sourced from certified crops; 50% of its composition comes from aluminum hydroxide, recovered during bauxite processing for aluminum extraction. It can be recycled and reused at the end of its life as an inert material; it is lighter, having reduced its specific weight by 30%, which means it produces less CO₂ compared to similar products currently on the market, while also simplifying handling and installation. It is 100% restorable, even if scratched, stained, or burnt; it is self-extinguishing, with a Class 1 fire resistance certification; and it is entirely produced in Italy.
Cristalplant® biobased is a material eligible for “VOC” and “BIO-BASED” scores for eco-sustainability certifications such as “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design” (LEED). In 2011, the material received certification stating that its resins are derived from plant starches and GMO-free corn; within the material, such resins account for over 12%, far exceeding the standard minimum requirement of 5%.
We collaborated with a specialized company to produce a 1:1 scale model using a CNC Machine.
This hands-on process allowed us to refine details, ensuring the sink not only meets aesthetic expectations but also offers an optimal user experience.
The result is a functional yet poetic piece, that could transform a simple act of washing into a mindful interaction with the product.
